The 25th China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF) concluded on Nov 19 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
Featuring a record-breaking exhibition area of 500,000 square meters, the CHTF facilitated the participation of countries, international organizations, and exhibition groups, including 72 overseas exhibition groups.
A highlight of the fair was the scientific achievements that were exhibited by 33 provinces and municipalities, such as Tianjin, Shandong and Guangdong, along with similar achievements by 26 universities and colleges, such as Tsinghua University and Peking University.
Shenzhen's Futian district exhibition area had 2,731 offline exhibitors that promoted 7,394 items to the public. Of this total, 307 were new products and 116 were new technologies.

Some 152,000 people visited this year's CHTF, with a total of 2,993 project contracts and letters of intention signed, amounting to 10.5 billion yuan ($1.47 billion).
AI technology was another highlight of this year's fair, attracting crowds of people with its numerous successful commercial applications. Various AIGC applications were on display, and an AIGC themed tour route was organized in the Futian exhibition area.
A total of 339 companies showcased 589 cutting-edge products in the exhibition area for specialized, elaborative, characteristic and innovative enterprises. These products related to fields such as AI, semiconductors, mobile communications, and digital entertainment.
This year's CHTF organized 81 high-level technology forums and industrial salons.
